Antonia Martinez

Antonia Vasquez Martinez, 44, of Rawlins passed away unexpectedly Apr. 13, 2017 in the comfort of her own home. She was born Mar. 24, 1973 in Rawlins, WY to parents Emily F. (Rivera) and Henry R. Vasquez. A Vigil Service with recitation of the Rosary will be held on Mon. Apr. 17, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tues. Apr. 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Father Sam Hayes will be the Celebrant. Interment will follow in the Rawlins Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the services at St. Joseph's School. Antonia took pride in being a loving wife and mother. She loved the outdoors, hunting, camping, fishing and being surrounded by her family. She will always be remembered for her endless charity to those in need and for her strong faith in God. Survivors include her husband, Gilbert Martinez; sons, Liam Lovato and Joe Martinez; twin sister, Dora (Carlos Gonzales) Vasquez and her children, Joey and Haley Sisneros; brother, Ray (Desirae) Vasquez and their daughters, Delilah and Jasmine Vasquez; mother, Emily (Joe) Martinez; and numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Trent Lovato; father, Henry Vasquez; and grandparents, Dora and Manuel Rivera.
