In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Father, Husband, and Brother, Arthur Charles Groves.

Our family mourns the loss of Arthur Groves, a devoted father, husband, grandfather, brother, and friend, who passed away on June 9, 2026 at the age of 66.

Born on November 21st, 1959 in Lander, Wyoming to Barbara and Roy Groves, Art lived a life of dedication, hard work, and devotion to his family. He was a constant presence in the lives of those he loved, always doing his best to support them in any way he could.

He built the family home in Lander and, alongside his wife, Towana, raised a combined family of seven children while also opening their home and hearts to other family members in need. He was known for his generosity, kindness, and caring nature. Art was also never afraid to stand his ground and face whatever came his way head-on.

Art was deeply dedicated to his work and was often described as a powerhouse by those who worked alongside him. He rarely sat still, spending his time working in the yard, cooking memorable meals, building, or tackling a wide range of automotive projects. In his free time, he enjoyed watching movies with his family, caring for his lush plants, and spending time with his dogs.

With an encyclopedic knowledge that spanned many subjects, Art was often the first person family and friends called when they needed help solving a problem or figuring something out. Art had incredible wit, a robust sense of humor, and an exceedingly strong will. He possessed immense patience and understanding–both of which will be sorely missed by those who knew him.

His willingness to help others, strong work ethic, and unwavering love for his family is etched on the hearts of all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Towana, daughters Nandi, Elizabeth, Barbara, Amber, and Valerie, sons Eric and Patrick, and nephew David.

He is also survived by his sisters Joanne, MerriAnn, Patti, his brother Andrew, 16 grandchildren and various nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of his life will be held by his family at a later date.
