Beverly Dischner

January 28, 1939 — February 3, 2018

Beverly Ann Dischner, 79, passed away Feb. 3, 2018 at her residence in Green River, WY surrounded by her daughter, Susan, son-in-law, David, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was born Jan. 28, 1939 in Albion, NE to parents May (Bader) and Leo Kinzer. Beverly attended schools in Nebraska and was married to Tom Dischner in October of 1956. She worked many jobs in Rawlins and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed camping, walking and reading. She was an avid fan of both the Nebraska Corn Huskers and the Kansas City Chiefs. Survivors include two sons, David Dischner of Beaverton, OR and Boyd Dischner of Cheyenne, WY; one daughter, Susan "Sue" and husband, David Beck of Green River, WY; two brothers, Bunk Kinzer and Don Kinzer; five sisters, Judy Harouff, Sharon Heller, Virginia Micek, Ardie Redler and Lulabell Hopkins; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tom in 1993; one daughter, Joanne Dischner; and eight siblings. Memorial services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wed. July 18, 2018, at the Jacoby Funeral Home, 702 W. Walnut St. Rawlins, WY. Father Sam Hayes will officiate. A celebration of life will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Washington Park in Rawlins. Food will be provided, but those attending are asked to bring their own drinks, no alcohol please.
