Brian Jay Detterer, age 58 passed away in a commercial trucking accident on Wyoming Highway 30 on Monday, March 11, 2024.

Brian was raised on the family farm in Windsor, Colorado where he graduated from Windsor High School in 1983. He worked on ranches until the last few years where he was employed driving commercial sand truck.

Brian was a member of the Platte Valley Christian Center Assembly of God Church in Saratoga, where he kept the prayer warriors busy with his life events. Brian recently chose to invest in his faith, and pursue a deeper relationship with God, and his family was blessed to see this transformation. Brian recently shared this a quote that he really took to heart, “A secret to life; we are all seeking joy and fulfillment in our lives. The only way to achieve this is by turning our lives to God, fully, with no reserves and do his will.”
