Carol M. Rodabaugh, 74, of Rawlins passed away peacefully on November 12, 2016 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbon County, with her loving husband of 53 years by her side. Carol was born on March 28, 1942 in Gunnison, CO. She married Ronald J Rodabaugh on July 2, 1963. Over 9 years, the couple welcomed 3 children into their home. Her children remember her as a kind, gentle, patient, driven mother who encouraged them to be the best they can be. Carol enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, camping, bowling, watching Football, NASCAR, reading and spending time with her family and friends. She often used her crochet talent to create beautiful pieces for family and friends. She was a generous, witty, dedicated individual who loved her family. Carol is survived by her husband, Ronald; son, Kirk; daughters, Kathi (Mark) and Andrea (Troy); nine grandchildren, Jezria, Charel, Oriana (Matt), Devin (Noel), Nicolle (Josh), Serena, Joshua and Axsel; and 17 great-grandchildren, Kaydon, Quin, Dalton, Blayne, Dalaynee, Gaige, Carmen, Hunter, Troy, Xander, Brayden, Jackson, Rielle, Journee, Felicity, Timber and Nathon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald & Julia A. (Wheeler) Ryan; brothers, Butch and Teddy; son, Doug; and granddaughter, Mahala. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Friday, November 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Carbon County Funeral Home, with a reception to follow at 103 W Maple Street. Reverend Sharon Langfeldt will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Carol's life.
