Cecelia Ochoa, a cherished soul, was born on July 30, 1951, in Las Vegas, New Mexico. She left this world peacefully in her sleep on March 14, 2025, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, leaving behind a legacy marked by independence and strength.
Cecelia lived her life on her own terms, embracing each moment with an unwavering spirit that inspired those around her. She was a radiant presence whose laughter and wisdom touched countless lives.
Cecelia is survived by her beloved family, including her daughter Linda K. Gonzalez, Married to Jesus Gonzalez, and her son Daniel R. Ochoa, daughter Isabel C. Ochoa, and daughter Reynalda E. Ochoa. Married to Jaime Guerrero, her son Christopher A Ochoa . Her legacy continues through her 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Cecelia was preceded in death by her cherished sisters, Rose Erickson and Cordelia Pacheco; her brothers, Melvin Romero and Jimmy Baca; her mother, Josefita Romero; and brothers Alfred Romero, Jodie Romero, and Daniel Romero. Together, they form a loving memory that now cradles her spirit.
In celebrating Cecelia’s life, we honor her remarkable journey and the indelible impact she made on her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
