Christine Thomas

Christine V. Thomas, 57, of Saratoga, WY passed away March 5, 2016 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbon County in Rawlins. She was born June 9, 1958 in Indianapolis, IN to parents Marjorie (Steffy) and Everell "Ted" Van Tassel. The Rosary will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church in Saratoga followed by the Mass of Christian Burial. Father Joey Buencamino will be the Celebrant. Christine had worked as a CNA at the Saratoga Nursing Home, a secretary at St. Ann Parish, Country Store, Saratoga Inn and Dollar Store, and also did babysitting in her home. Her hobbies included cross-stitch, jigsaw puzzles, collecting various frog knick-knacks and doing computer research. Christine never met a stranger. She loved and knew everyone and their history. She was full of energy and brightened any room she entered and would always give you a big hug. Her favorite Saint was St. Cecilia and her favorite color was purple. Survivors include her husband, Marty Thomas; step-daughter, Kaytee Thomas; sons, Ben Anton, Jeremy Anton, Johnathon Anton and Timothy Anton; sisters, Ellen Van Tassel and Kathleen Hill; and brother, Paul Van Tassel. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Peter Van Tassel.
