Cleo Madsen

January 23, 1932 — February 19, 2020

Born January 23, 1932, Cleo was the 8th child to Scott and Jessie Bringhurst. She had 6 brothers and 1 sister. They all adored her.

Our beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and dear friend passed away on Wednesday evening February 19, 2020.  She was 88 years old.

Cleo was loved by everyone. She had more friends than most of us will ever have. She had a wonderful wit and was always full of good cheer.

Cleo was a classy lady. You could always pick her out in a crowd. Always beautifully dressed, hair, nails, jewelry, purse and shoes.

We have many pictures in our mind and actual photos of her sitting around the dining table with a bunch of women, laughing and talking and then laughing some more.

Many of the people she knew felt like she was their second mother.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She exemplified service and always had a ready meal for anyone who needed it. She seemed to have a built-in radar for someone who needed to be cheered up, a helping hand or just a chat.

Cleo was a beautiful woman inside and out. She will be so missed. Rest well lovely lady. Toodle do.

Cleo is survived by her husband of 70 years, Ronald Howard Madsen. Four children, Steven Howard Madsen (Sue), Susan Madsen Morgan (Bob), Marvin Don Madsen and Karen Madsen Wood (Russell).

She had 11 grandchildren. Monte, Stephanie, Scott, Mitchell, Kristy, Samson, Michael, Kevin, Cole and Kyle and one step grandson Arrol.

She had 15 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren

There will not be a funeral service. The family will hold a private memorial service in the future.

Until we meet again Mom.
