Eddie Vialpando

Eddie was born July 24th ,1963 in Rawlins, WY to June and Jacobo Vialpando where he joined his 4 other siblings. Eddie graduated from Rawlins High school in 1983 where he met the love of his life Julie Montoya. They married on June 4th, 1983 and were married for over twenty years before divorcing. While married, Eddie and Julie had two children, Gabe and Louisa, who were his pride and joy. Eddie worked as a custodian for 20 years at the school district. He then was a foreman for the city of Rawlins for over 10 years. 

Eddie loved fishing. Any chance he got he would be at the river reeling in his next big catch. However, more than fishing, Eddie loved his model cars. He would spend hours upon hours working on his models, doing all the tedious details. He was a car enthusiast and always dreamed of owning a classic car. He had three grandchildren who were his pride and joy. He would be at every single sporting event possible to watch them play. You would never catch Eddie without a smile. No matter what kind of day he was having he was always laughing and smiling. Eddie was friends with everyone. He could not go anywhere without someone knowing him. He will be sadly missed by son, Gabe (Katie) Vialpando, daughter Louisa Vialpando-Boling, grandchildren Damien Vialpando, Emmanuel Vialpando, and Faith Boling. Sisters Gloria Vialpando, Darlena (Bobby) Sandoval, Becka Martinez, brother Andy (Judy) Vialpando, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Eddie was proceeded in death by his mother, June Vialpando, father Jacobo Vialpando.

An evening prayer service will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 7PM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
