David Langdon

David Eugene Langdon, 71, of Rawlins, passed away on May 30, 2018. He was born October 3, 1946 in Borger, Texas to parents, Gene and Jimmie Marie Langdon. David worked for many years in the oil and gas industry. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, reading, learning about history, visiting with family, and loving his grandchildren. David will be remembered for his perseverance, steadfastness, strength, and for being a guardian to his family. He was also loving, giving, and funny. David is survived by his children, David Langdon, Jr., Kelly Langdon, Chad And Michelle Langdon, Callie Langdon Christy Smith, and Tammy Smith; grandchildren, Ashton, Evyn, Josh, Morgan, Noah, Matthew, MaKaylah, Branden, Andrew, Zoe, Mya, and Dane; beloved friend Cecilia Langdon. David was preceded in death by his father, Gene Langdon; his mother, Jimmie Nix; and his sister, Lyncia Langdon. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jacoby Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Bryan Roberts will be officiating.
