Elna Watson

Elna Grace (Bowser) Watson, age 92 passed on February 4, 2019. Elna Grace, born June 6, 1926, was daughter to Leslie Earl Bowser and Martha Ettie Elizabeth Bowser and was raised in Bairoil, Wyoming. Elna married George Watson in 1949 and together they raised four children, Clayton Watson, Wesley Watson, Malcolm Watson, and Leslie (Tee) Watson Pollard. Together, Elna and George owned and operated several small business including Coonies (Cajun) Gas and Oil, Hi Top Motel, Watson's East End Trailer Park, Marionello Beauty Shop and later in partnership with Sharon Watson in Sage Brush Fabrics. She was a member of the Union Pacific Junior Oldtimers, Rawlins Women's Club, and served as Girl Scout Troop leader. Elna loved animals, had a passion for books, crafts, rock collecting, and lapidary. Elna was an accomplished accordionist and music teacher. Elna was survived by her children, Clayton, Wes (wife Dorothy), Malcolm (Sharon), and Tee. Grandchildren, Clay Watson of FL, Tracy Watson (FL), Elna Josiah Britt (her husband Michael) of TN, Kim Bigelow (and husband Ryan) of NM, Wendey Watson of NM, Robert Watson and family of Rawlins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Ettie, brother Raymond, sister Hazel and husband George. A special thank you to Jennifer, Tom, Dakota, and Chase Packard for their support. A memorial service will be announced for a date in the spring or summer. Cremation is under the care of Jacoby Funeral Home
