Ernest Richard Trujillo passed away on May 5, 2019 at Memorial Hospital of Carbon County surrounded by his loving family. He was 90 years old. Ernest was born on May 28, 1928 to parents Ruben and Lucy (Montano) Trujillo in Rawlins, WY. He was a lifelong resident of Rawlins. Ernest worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and just being in the great outdoors of Wyoming. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Ernest married Shirley Lascano on October 20, 1951 and the couple became parents to four children. Shirley preceded him in death in 2002. Also preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Rudy. Surviving Ernest are his four children: Son Johnny E. Trujillo and his wife Annabale, and their children, Johnathon and wife Heather; and Rick and his wife Shari. Daughter Adella Duran and her husband Ernest, and their children, Preston; and Max and wife Stacey. Daughter Isabel Aragon and her husband Art, and their children, Art Jr. and wife Kris; and Shannon and husband Nick. Son David Trujillo and his wife Lisa, and their children, Agnes and husband Ron; David Jr. and wife Evelyn; and Lisa. Also surviving are 15 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren, as well as three sisters, Irene Martinez and husband Wilford, Pauline Medina, and Elizabeth Archuleta. Numerous nieces and nephews survive as well.
