Evangelina DeHerrera

Evangelina (Lena) DeHerrera, 88, of Rawlins passed away Apr. 6, 2017 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbon County with her daughter by her side. She was born Feb. 19, 1929 in Costilla, NM to Alfredo Arellano and Rosenda Vigil. My beautiful angel was a devoted mother and wife, married to her husband, Archie for 69 years. Survivors include her three children, Barbara Stulheit of Caldwell, Idaho, Anthony DeHerrera of Buffalo and Bernadette Harris of Green River. She was preceded in death by her precious children, June, Andy and Juanita. As we all know, Lena was loved by many. We were all blessed to have her as long as we did. Lena was the most humble, loving and caring person that we will ever know. We were all grateful to have her in our lives. Our mother never complained about anything, everything made her happy, never complained about her pain and sorrows and always thought of everyone first. Anyone she came in contact with she loved and accepted. She was everyone's grandma, but mostly a beautiful loving mother, grandma, great-grandma, great-great-grandma and devoted wife to her husband, Archie. We will all sadly miss her and always love her more than words could express. Now our beautiful mother will be at peace in heaven. May God be with her and the angels wrap their wings around her and may she Rest in Peace. We will always love you grannie!
