Florencio (Lencho) Lucero, of Rawlins, died Aug. 12, 2016 surrounded by family. He was 65. He worked for Union Pacific Railroad for 35½ years. He was born on Jan. 10, 1951 in Las Vegas, N.M. to Joe and Virginia Lucero. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Donna Lucero; three siblings, Frank (patsy), Joe Lucero of Rawlins, and Theresa Majors of Grand Junction; four children, Charlotte (Mike), David (Natalie), Steven (Melissa) and Shawn (Erika) Lucero, all of Rawlins; two stepsons, Michael (Sheila) Williams and Vance (Chrystal) Wilson, both of Grand Junction; 18 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 20 at the Calvary Chapel Church in Rawlins with a potluck lunch.
