Frank Harrison Kitchin, 81, of Rawlins passed away Dec. 26, 2017. He was born Mar. 17, 1936, in Concordia, KS to parents, Wanda (Cook) and Ralph Batchelor. He graduated from Rawlins H.S. in 1954. At the age of 17 on Sept. 7, 1953, he began working as a crew caller for the U.P. Railroad. He later worked for the City of Rawlins Water Works, retiring in 1986. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his sister, Laura (Gary) Hall of Kimball, NE; niece, Roxie (William) Hensley; mother-in-law, Juanita Haycock; and numerous extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Karen Kitchin; brother, James Kitchin; and sister, Leatrice Jackson Hunt. A visitation will be held on Fri. Dec. 29, 2017, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Jacoby Funeral Home followed by a graveside service in the Rawlins Cemetery.
