Franklin W. Autio, age 82, passed away, leaving behind a life marked by hard work, humor, and simple joys. He was born on June 11, 1944, in Hurley, Wisconsin, to Frank and Anne Autio. 

Franklin dedicated over 30 years of his life to working at the Sinclair Oil Refinery in Sinclair, Wyoming, where he built a long and steady career. He was also a longtime member of the Rawlins Elks Lodge where he built lasting friendships and enjoyed being part of the community. 

He had a love for the outdoors and simple pastimes, including golf, fishing, and hunting. He also enjoyed playing cribbage and cards and was a dedicated fan of football, especially the Green Bay Packers. Known for his sarcastic and sometimes goofy sense of humor, Franklin often found ways to joke with those around him and bring a bit of lightness to everyday moments.

 In 1997, Franklin married Janice, and they spent many years together building a life and sharing the everyday moments that come with it. 

He is survived by his wife, Janice; his sister, Betty; his daughters, Christine and Nanci; his sons, Corey and Tracy; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Anne; his son, Frank; and his sister, Rose Lee. 

Franklin lived life in his own way and will be remembered by those who knew him for his personality, his humor, and the many moments, big and small, that made up his life.
