Gilbert Amador Trujillo of Rawlins, Wyoming passed away on October 5, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was 72 years old. He was born in Rawlins, Wyoming on May 14, 1951, to Julia Garcia & Phillip Trujillo. He attended Rawlins High School where he met the love of his life, Maria Fabby Vigil. They were married on May 24, 1969, and shared 54 beautiful years together.

Gilbert worked in the construction field for many years and the Union Pacific Railroad. Gilbert loved everyone and will always be remembered for having a heart of gold. He always went out of his way for others. Gilbert loved his German Shepherds and his dog, Mono. He loved spending time with all his grandchildren and great grandchildren, taking them fishing every chance he could. He was always there for school and sporting events cheering them on throughout the years. He loved his wife, Fabby with all his heart.

Gilbert is survived by his wife, Maria Fabby Trujillo, of Rawlins, WY; his sons, Travis (Rene) Trujillo & Amos (Onika) Trujillo, of Rawlins, WY. His grandchildren Joey (Tayler) Trujillo, Adrian (Cherie) Trujillo, Vanessa Trujillo, & Eli Trujillo of Rawlins, WY; great grandchildren Adrian, Mya, Gabriel, Amos, Joshua, Tiana, Manuel, Zayna, Jazzmin, Azayla, & Izzy of Rawlins, WY; sister Janet Garcia of Cheyenne, WY; brother Johnny Trujillo of Rock Springs, WY; Pete (Tina) Navarro of Visalia, CA; Yvonne (Richard) Renteria of Visalia, CA; Rosa Piazza of Visalia, CA and many nieces and nephews. Gilbert is preceded in death by his daughters; Crystal and Jill, parents Julia Garcia and Phillip Trujillo; sister Margaret Trujillo; brothers Ray Navarro, Manuel Trujillo, and Jimmy Trujillo; grandson Jacob Drumm; and granddaughter Chloe Trujillo.

Rosary will be held Friday, October 13, 2023 at 7:00pm at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Rawlins, WY; memorial service to follow on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 10:00am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Rawlins, Wyoming.
