Dale Brawley

Glyn Dale Brawley, age 81 of Hanna, Wyoming passed away at his home on May 25, 2023. Dale was born on November 12, 1941, in McLure, Illinois to Jeff and Selma Brawley.

            He lived in Missouri as a young child until the family moved to Colorado so his parents could work at timber camps in the area. He lived for a short time in Laramie, Wyoming before relocating to Hanna, Wyoming where he attended high school. In 1955, he married Georgia Brawley. They later divorced, but 4 daughters were born during their marriage. In June 1983, Dale married Wilma and they remained married until her passing in 2021.

            Dale worked as a welder and traveled to many places for work, including the Hanna Coal Mines. He eventually returned to Hanna where he enjoyed his retirement.

            Dale is survived by his four daughters, Glenda Beisner of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Carol Hilton of Blue Springs, Missouri, Karen Szoke and husband Scott of Spokane, Washington and Sandra Combs and husband Chuck of Hanna, Wyoming; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews;  his ex-wife, Georgia of Rock Springs, Wyoming and 2 sisters, Hilda VanValkenberg of Walden, Colorado and Phyllis Counts of Winona, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Wayne Brawley and a grandson, Tanner Beisner.

            At his request, there are no services being planned.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Casada Funeral Home & Crematory in Rawlins, Wyoming.
