Helen Mozella
Chipperfield
Jul 7, 1942 — Oct 22, 2026
Rawlins
Helen lived a life filled with love, adventure, hard work, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her adventurous spirit, and the many friendships she made along the way.
Helen and her husband, Ed, shared 64 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they raised two children, Scott and Annette, and shared love for the outdoors.
Ed and Helen’s journey together included two successful business ventures. For 20 years, they owned and operated Ed’s Automotive. Always ready for their next adventure, they went on to operate Wyoming Adventures Big Game Hunting Outfitters for another 30 years. Helen was an important part of the outfitting business, serving as camp cook and keeping hunters well fed and cared for.
Throughout the years Ed and Helen went of several hunting expeditions within the US and Canada. Helen was an avid hunter herself, and she embraced the adventure, friendships, and memories that came along the way. Helen enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the Seminoe Boat Club where many good times and lasting memories were shared. Whether on a hunting trip, hunting arrowheads, or gathering with loved ones, Helen treasured the simple joys of life and the people who made it special.
Helen was proceeded in death by her son, Scott, and her siblings, Roger, Bert, Joanne, and Rozada . She leaves behind her devoted husband of 64 years, Ed; her daughter, Annette (Scott) Penman, brother, Georg Ellison; her grandchildren, Derrick and Devan Penman, Cody and Kendal Chipperfield, and great grandchildren, Mia, Kylan, and Kade.
A celebration of Helen’s life will be held in the spring of 2027 at the Seminoe Boat Club. Family and friends will gather to honor her life, share memories, and celebrate a woman who loved her family, cherished her friends, and never shied away from the next adventure.
