A new adventure began on June 30, 1972, when she married Darrell "Stubby" Stubbs, who had two children, Noranne and Doug. She finished her working career at Carbon County School District #1 in Rawlins. She enjoyed spending time at their cabin at the Odd Fellows Campground, south of Encampment, three trips to the Final Four basketball tournaments, daily crossword puzzles and "occasional" trips to Wendover. Her memorial service will be held at Carbon County Funeral Home in Rawlins on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. Father Sam Hayes will officiate. A celebration of her life will follow at T' Keg. At her request, cremation has taken place. Honorary Pallbearers include friends too numerous to name and the many who called her "Mom". In lieu of flowers, donations to T' Keg For the Cure, c/o Kathleen Johnson, 608 14th St, Rawlins, Wyoming, 82301 or the charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated.
