Jimmy Linn

Jimmy "Jim" Dean Linn, Sr., 56, of Rawlins passed away Oct. 21, 2017 in Cheyenne surrounded by his family. He was born Oct. 27, 1960 in Rawlins to Harold and Margie Linn. Jim went to the Rawlins High School and was a 1979 graduate. He married Carolyn Garcia in 1978 and together they had 4 children. They later divorced, and Jim married Gloria Linn. Jim worked for the Bel'air, The Elks Lodge, City Market, and most recently as a correctional officer for the Wyoming State Penitentiary for 20 years. Jim loved golfing, camping, fishing, working on his house and most of all, spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Gloria Linn of Rawlins; son, Larry Million (Felicia) of Hanna; son, Jimmy Linn (Andrea) of Rawlins; daughter, Melissa Lehmkuhl (Kenny) of Rock Springs; daughter, Amanda Linn (Cheryl) of Rawlins; daughter, Kimberly Stocks (Denny) of Rock Springs; step- son, Eric (Shelly) of Colorado Springs; sister, Pat (Larry) of Rawlins; brother, Vern (Barb) of Rawlins; brother, Glenn (Marti) of Wisconsin; brother, Robert (Tammi) of Alaska; sister, Linda of Ogden, UT; brother, Brian (Daniel) of Arizona; and half-sister, Kay of Colorado. Jim had several grandchildren, Kyle, Carly, Michael, Whitney, Emma, Laci, Elliot, Donald, Shawn, Dakota, Hailey, Mattix, Brayden, Finley, Rebecca, Adrian, JR, Sarrah and Breyanna; and several nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. Jim will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting him. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Harold Linn; mother, Margie Linn; grandson, Alex Linn Ellis; half-brother, Jackie Linn; uncle, Glen; aunt, Leona; and step-granddaughter, Vicki. A Visitation will be held on Fri. Oct. 27, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Jacoby Funeral Home in Rawlins. Funeral Services will take place on Sat. Oct. 28, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Rawlins Cooperative Parish, 800 N. 23rd. St. Rawlins. Rev. Sharon Langfeldt will officiate. Interment will follow in the Rawlins Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Linn, Larry Million, Glen Linn, Denny Stocks, Dakota Stocks, Kenny Lehmkuhl, Michael Rodabaugh and David Lucero. Honorary Pallbearers will be Shaun Lucero, Steven Lucero, Amanda Linn and Jessie Marion.
