November 25, 1941 — April 20, 2016

Jimmy Darrell Maddox died April 20, 2016, at the Memorial Hospital of Carbon County at the age of 74. Jimmy was born November 25, 1941 to Noel and Myrtle (Mobley) Maddox. He married Magdalene (Maggie) Angelene Rosenkotter on June 15, 1975, in Lincoln, Nebraska. Jimmy graduated from DeAnza High School. Soon after entering the workforce he found that he was great at many aspects of business including sales and management. It wasn't until much later in life that he found his true passion for the open road. He drove a truck for C.R. England for 11 years before having to retire due to his health. Jimmy enjoyed working with leather and watching westerns and football. His favorite pastime was spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandkids. Jimmy was known for his kindness. He was always lending others a helping hand, he never left a friend in need. He had an amazing sense of humor and loved to pull pranks on his daughters! He is survived by his daughter, Kristina Sulzen McKee, her husband, Eric McKee and their two children, Camden Sulzen and Lanie Lawson; daughter, Ashley Moses and her four children, Tavon Lawson, Tavia Lawson, Tegan Mathill and Trayden Maddox.
