Jo Ellen Adams

On July 27th, 2019, in the company of her family, Jo Ellen (Jody) Adams was called to the Lord's side. Jody was born in Denver, Colorado and raised in Golden, Colorado. She loved horses and grew up riding and training horses. She married Capt. Robert (Bob) Adams on September 13th, 1969 and owned a quarter horse ranch for many years prior to having children. After moving to Casper, Wyoming, she brought into life two daughters and loved raising her children. She instilled in them a love for nature. She wore many different hats in her life, from loving wife and mother to realtor and secretary. Upon Bob's retirement, she and Bob remodeled houses locally, worked for the local hardware store, and loved walking her dog, Ret. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Helen Finney, and her husband, Robert Adams. She is survived by her daughters, Alana (Lonni) Engel (Adams) and Audri Morgan (Adams), their husbands Josh Engel and Craig Morgan, and her grandchildren Payton and Gracie Morgan. Services will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, in Rawlins, Wyoming, at a later date.
