John Palato

RAWLINS-John R. Palato, 68 years, died September 27, 2016 in Laramie. A memorial service will be held at Carbon County Funeral Home in Rawlins at 2:00 PM Wednesday October 5, 2016 with a gathering of friends starting at 1:00 PM. A luncheon will be held prior at 12:00 PM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church School gymnasium in Rawlins. All friends are invited. John is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sue, his mother in law, Marian Barlow, his children, Jonathan and Serena Palato, Trisha and Anthony Lucero, Nicholas and Kassi Bertogli , Magen and Nathan Donivan, 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. John was born July 4, 1948 in Torrington Wyoming to James and Santiago Palato. He graduated from Natrona High and enlisted in the US Army on July 25, 1976 and was honorably discharged December 17, 1981. He went to work for the Sinclair Refinery in 1978 while still serving in the reserves and retired in 2004. John enjoyed spending time with family especially his grandchildren.
