Karen Hiatt

Karen Lee Hiatt, resident of Sinclair, Wyoming, passed away on November 20, 2020 at Memorial Hospital of Carbon County at the age of 78 years.

Karen was born on October 25, 1942 in Hanna, Wyoming.  She graduated from Hanna High School, 1960.

For three years worked for Rose Bud Mine as a coal hauler and managed a Redi-Mix Concrete Plant staying thru three ownerships.

Karen married Charles “Chuck” Hiatt on April 21, 1962 for 58 years.  They were ranchers (cattle and horses) for over thirty years.  She showed horses (appaloosa horses).

She attended the Sinclair Baptist Church.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Chuck, children; Chuck, Jr. (Barrie), Raymond, Dustin (Isabel), grandchildren Preston Tyrel, Tray Polster, Bradley, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Jacoby Funeral Home is in charge of cremation.  Services will be scheduled for a later date and donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Indian School.
