Rawlins

Karen Kathleen Whitmarsh went peacefully to Glory on August 20, 2024, in Rawlins Wyoming, surrounded by her daughter Monica and friend and caregiver Dianna Lytle. Karen will be laid to rest next to her husband Eugene (Bear) Whitmarsh in Rosalia WA.

She was a very faithful woman of God and a very caring lady. She took her niece and nephews into her home and helped raise them. She loved taking long drives and seeing the countryside. She loved children and loved babysitting them. She loved sitting on the deck watching the birds. She faithfully read her bible everyday and loved the Lord. She affected and contributed to countless people's lives and has been faithfully rewarded for this.

Karen was born in Hawarden, IA on September 2, 1943, to Thomas Howard Muth and Hazel Marie Muth.

Karen is survived by her brothers Marlo (Della) Muth and Lenneth (Edna). Her four children, three daughters, Monica Warner (Postlethwaite) and husband Clint Postlethwaite. Lisa Warner, Heather Whitmarsh (Durrance) and Son Brian Whitmarsh. Karen has six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Due to Karen’s husband Eugene’s health they moved from Selah, WA to live with their daughter, Monica and her family in Arlington, WA.
