Katherine Davidson

Katherine Lorene (Hooker) Davidson, 71 (but she would say she's 38), of Rawlins, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018 in Casper, Wyoming after a long battle with COPD. Kathi was born in Rawlins, Wyoming on May 18, 1947 to Streeta and Irene (Phelps) Hooker. She attended Rawlins High School and graduated with the class of 1965. Kathi was married to the love of her life, Hugh Davidson, on December 13, 1972. They were married 41 years. Kathi worked as a dispatcher for the Carbon County Sheriff's Office and as a bus driver for Carbon County School District #1.. She enjoyed beading with her friends Gayle and Connie, crafting of just about any kind, fishing, reading and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Kathi is survived by her children, Craig and Teresa Davidson, David Davidson and Bella and Denise and Michael Wood; grandchildren Phylicia Davidson, Brooke (Mike) Beck, Woodrow Davidson, Taylor Williams, Tessa Williams and Ava Ford; great-grandchildren Bryston Beck, Audrey Beck, James Beck, Carter Beck and Trinity Beck; sisters Linda (Chuck) Rodabaugh, Virginia Hanks and Mary Ann (Rick) Goodro and brothers George Hooker,Sr. And Jonathan Hooker; Cousin/best friend Karen (Mike) Lehrer; Special friends Eric and Christy Ford and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Hugh, her parents Street and Irene Hooker, in-laws Mary and Doc, sister-in-law Joyce Pierce, and nephews Michael Rodabaugh and Jerod Hall. Services will take place Thursday July 19th at 10am at the Rawlins Cooperative Parish (800 N 23rd St.) in Rawlins. Reverend Jason Harshberger will officiate. Cremation has taken place. Honorary pallbearers are: Jerry Colson, Archie Roybal, Lonnie Moon, Bobby Moon, Ted Ford, Tao Jaure, Brent Carpenter Jr., Dave Bryan, Gary Poledna, Kelly Hawbaker, Sherrod France, Rodgers Duthie, Rick Goodro, Chuck Rodabaugh and Karen Lehrer.
