Kevin E Ward, lifelong resident of Rawlins passed away in his sleep at his home on Saturday, September 2, 2023. 

Kevin was born in Rawlins and was the oldest child of Keith and Barbara Ward. Throughout his 62 years he made Rawlins his home, started a family with Susann Ward, owned a business and did whatever he could to support Rawlins, Carbon County and any of his friends.

Kevin was passionate about family, work, politics, people, sports and hunting. He shared all of those passions with anyone who had the time to listen or argue. He was devoted to his children and grandchildren no matter where they were or what they needed.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father Keith M. Ward and his sister Brenda Kovachevich. He is survived by his mother Barbara Ward, sister Becky (Tom) Peyton, nephew’s Matthew (Shaundra) Peyton, Nathan (Alli), Harper, Nora Peyton, Joshua and Kopen Kovachevich, Jacob (Kylee) Kovachevich, brother-in-law Steve Kovachevich. His wife Susann Ward, daughter Rachel (Adam) George, son Kristopher Ward, grandchildren Noah, Eleanor, Kase and Kooper and countless other family members and friends.
