Leo P. Montoya, 67, resident of Rawlins passed away on Aug. 9th, 2018. He was born June 29, 1951 in Rawlins to Ralph and Mary Montoya. Leo had four children, Sonia, Leo Jr. (Kirsten), Zoe and Ebernay; grandchildren, Raven, Destiny, Skye, Roczen, Jackson; great-grandchildren, Noah and MiLena. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. Leo enjoyed playing pool and his guitar, cruising on his Harley and writing poetry. He was well known for his impromptu performances, which left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Leo is survived by his four children, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren; siblings, Rose (Rubel), Lori (Andy), Vitalia, Shirley, Patsy, Eva (John) and brother Ernie. Leo was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Mary; brothers Roger, Rudy, Floyd, Charlie, Arthur; sisters Emma and Nancy. Services will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Father Sam Hayes will be the Celebrant.
