Marcus Edward Johnson, 57 of Hanna, Wyoming passed away at his home. He was born in Freeport, Texas and was a graduate of Watson Chapel High School in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He served in the 2nd Battalion 8th Infantry and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and the Army Achievement Medal and was honorably discharged. 

     He was preceded in death by his parents and survived by his son, Zachary Johnson, sister Marla Murry (Stephen) of Farmerville, Louisiana, nephew Joshua Smith (Sheri) of Cheyenne, Wyoming, niece Adrienne Rushing (Timothy) of Magnolia, Arkansas, as well as great nieces and nephews. 

     Service will be at the Cheyenne National Cemetery September 20, 2024.
