Raiden Sanchez Memorial Pamphlet Raiden Theo Sanchez passed away on August 2, 2026, at the age of eight. Born in Rawlins, Wyoming to his loving parents, Corey and Andrea Sanchez, on September 1, 2017,

Raiden was affectionately nicknamed “Bubby” by his grandfather, Cipriano Sanchez, where he brought boundless energy, laughter, and smiles amongst his family and friends. Raiden is remembered for his charismatic personality, brilliant mind, and silly spirit. Raiden held a special bond with his brother Aven and his sister Anya. He was his older brother's “shadow” and knew how to playfully pester his younger sister. Raiden always looked forward to going to school where he excelled in math and reading, enjoyed spending time with his classmates, and was frequently praised by his teachers for his kind heart, leadership, and willingness to help others. Inspired by his love of playing video games and board games with his parents, siblings, and friends including Minecraft, Roblox, and Pokemon, Raiden aspired to become a streamer so that he could be rich and take care of his parents forever. With enthusiasm he would often say “I can entertain the world.” Always eager to learn and experience something new, Raiden dreamed of one day visiting Japan and wanted to prepare by learning Japanese. The only catch being his parents made him promise to try the local food which is very different from his favorite foods of spicy chips or anything sweet.

Raiden cherished every moment spent with his family, whether at home, camping in the mountains, creating memories on family vacations, or gathering around the table for game night. Uno was one of his favorite games where he earned a playful reputation as a "slick and charismatic rule maker," always finding creative ways to bend the rules in his favor while keeping everyone laughing. His lighthearted and goofy spirit turned the simplest moments into treasured memories. For reasons known only to God, Raiden was called to find his Papo Cippi in the mountains, where family and friends can find solace in knowing that they are fishing together and waiting for others to see them once more.

Raiden is preceded in death by his grandfather, Cipriano Sanchez. He is survived by his parents Corey and Andrea Sanchez; brother Aven Mizner and sister Anya Sanchez; grandmother Rosie Sanchez; Niño Antonio Maravilla and Niña Nicole Maravilla; aunt Angela Sanchez; aunt Melissa Sanchez; and aunt Liz Sanchez; and cousins Cameron and Kyliah Weishoff, Dominic Maravilla, and Angel Villarreal. He is also survived by his grandparents Mark and Carol Zahn; uncles Dustin and Logan Zahn; grandparents Michael and Talli Sisneros; uncle and aunt Joey and Ceara Sisneros; uncle and aunt Sterling and Haley Sisneros; cousins Meagan Sisneros and Amelia Sisneros; and numerous other family members including James Maier.

A Rosary will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Monday, August 10th, 2026 at 7:00 pm, followed by Mass of a Christian Burial on August 11th, 2026 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Rawlins Cemetery.
