Randon Meeks

Randon Thane Meeks, 27, of Rawlins, Wyoming passed away September 4, 2017. He was born January 26, 1990 in Lander, Wyoming to Cullen and Melissa Meeks. Randon graduated from Rawlins High School in 2008. He then explored several career paths and enjoyed learning and experiencing new things. Randon was a tough, fun-loving, joke-playing kind of guy. He was a member of the odd fellows, and enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, motor sports, razor riding, and snowboarding. He loved spending time with family and friends, most of all his daughter, Zaryah and his dog companion, Roxy. Randon was preceded in death by his Grandpa Verle Meeks, Grandpa Don Thompson, Grandma Ina Hereford, Aunt Neen Hereford, Aunt Becky Thompson, and Uncle Jeff Hereford. Randon is survived by his parents, Cullen and Melissa (Missy) Meeks; his daughter, Zaryah Kay Meeks; his sister, Afton (Skyler) Koontz; his grandmother, Barbara Thompson; his Aunt Rhonda (Doug) Kimsey; his Uncles George Williams, Ranson Thompson and Joe Hereford; Cousins Jamie Welch, Kaylee and Kody Williams and Madison Abbey; many more cousins; and niece and nephew, Kaydon and Kamdyn Koontz. Memorial services will be held on Sat. Sept. 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Sinclair Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Holmes officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kaydon Koontz, Ranson Thompson, Skyler Koontz, Kody Williams, Kipp Hereford, Travis Blaylock and Tony Jaure. A reception will follow in the Sinclair Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Zaryah Meeks Memorial Fund, Meridian Trust FCU, P.O. Box 1018, Rawlins, WY 82301.
