Raul Carmona

Raul "Rallo" Carmona, 32, of Rawlins passed away suddenly on Jan. 14, 2016. He was born July 2, 1983 in Rawlins to parents Georgeanna (Garcia) Muniz and Raul Carmona. Rallo enjoyed fishing, camping, target shooting with his brother, muscle cars, caring for his dog and cooking with his wife. He was married to Christina (Hoover) on July 13, 2012 and together they had three children. His children were his life, making sure they had everything they wanted and needed. He is remembered as a very caring and loving man. Survivors include his wife, Christina Carmona; children, Karmen, Carlos, Cara and Angel; parents, Georgeanna and Paul Muniz and Raul Camona, Sr.; brother, Mathew Garcia; sister, Lydia Carmona; grandparents, George and Isabel Garcia; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Andy Garcia and cousin, Justin Boling. A visitation with viewing will be held on Thurs. Jan. 21, 2016 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Carbon County Funeral Home in Rawlins. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Fri. Jan. 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Rawlins with Father Sam Hayes as the Celebrant. Pallbearers will be Elijah Harvey, Manuel Trujillo, Kenny Ogburn, Nate Frescas, Christian Cardona, Tony Maravilla, Eric Boling and Westley Boling. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gabe Lopez, Tony Ross, Chad Welch, Casey Boling, Jake Lovato and Daniel Fernandez. Interment will follow in the Rawlins Cemetery. A reception lunch will be served at St. Joseph's School Gymnasium following the interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Go Fund Me account or to one of Raul's family members.
