Rex A. Ramsey, resident of Rawlins, Wyoming, passed away on August 4, 2022, at Shepard’s of the Valley Care Center in Casper, Wyoming at the age of 65 years.

Rex was born on May 20, 1957, in Muncie, Indiana to Don L. and Alberta E. Ramsey. Rex married Kim Chenoweth on September 27, 1986. Rex worked for the Carbon County Sheriff’s Department as an emergency dispatch operator.

Rex suffered from dementia. He has lived at Shepard’s where he was loved and cared for by a wonderful staff.

Rex loved wood burning and fishing.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Kimberly Ramsey of 35 years; his sons Nicholas R. Ramsey and Nathan A. Ramsey; and brothers, Randy Ramsey of Medicine Bow, Wyoming and Mike Ramsey of Muncie, Indiana.

The cremation was held on August 8, 2022, in the care of Jacoby Funeral Home.
