Roger Cable

Roger Dale Cable, 57, of Elk Mountain, Wyoming went to be with God on March 5, 2014. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at the Elk Mountain Fire Hall. Alan Carr of North Carolina will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Elk Mountain Fire Hall. Burial will follow the funeral services at the Elk Mountain Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Carbon County Funeral Home in Rawlins, Wyoming. Roger was born in McDowell County, Marion, North Carolina on September 22, 1957, to Carroll and Raye (Crowe) Cable. Roger graduated from McDowell High School and served his country in the United States Air Force for 3 years. In 2001, Roger continued on to receive a degree in Theology with honors from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Roger married Linda (Condos) Cable on November 11, 2002, and the two were happily married until the time of his death. Roger worked for many different companies including jobs in show business, construction, and pastoring several churches. He enjoyed his years working in The Marshall Islands and Texas. Recently, Roger worked for Oftedal Construction as a business development manager in Casper, Wyoming. He enjoyed many different hobbies including guitar playing, barbequing, leather craft, mechanics, shooting, racing, and anything involving the mountains. Roger is survived by his spouse, Linda Cable of Elk Mountain, Wyoming; parents, Carroll and Raye Cable of Union Mills, NC; brother, Gary Cable of Florida; sister, Joan Carr (Alan Carr) of North Carolina; brother, Allen Cable (Alisha Cable) of Oklahoma; son, Kyle Warren of Elk Mountain, Wyoming; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Roger was a devoted son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Roger is preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents.
