Ronald Irvin Eaton, 77, of Sinclair, Wyoming, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2025, just one day after celebrating his 77th birthday.
A lifelong resident of Sinclair, Ron was a proud and dedicated member of the community. He worked as an operator at the Sinclair Refinery for over 45 years, where he was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and quiet leadership.
Ron was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Alyce Eaton; their three children and spouses, Shane Arthur Eaton (Becky), Tamara Ialene Eaton Oakes (Joseph), and Ronald Michael Eaton (Misty); 11 grandchildren—Alycia, Alexander, Caleb, Christopher, Reghan, Cody, Hunter, Katlyn, Austin, Christie, and Kira; and 8 great-grandchildren.
A passionate outdoorsman, Ron was most at peace in the wilds of Wyoming. Whether hunting or fishing, he found great joy in nature and passed that love on to his children and grandchildren. As a mentor, especially in the outdoors, he was patient, wise, and always generous with his time and knowledge. Above all else, Ron cherished his family, for whom he would do anything.
A private viewing for family was held on May 12 in Rawlins.
Ron’s legacy of love, strength, and quiet guidance will live on in the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered and loved.
