Sammy Junior Flores (Deal) passed peacefully on April 19, 2026, in Rawlins, Wyoming, at the age of 58. He was born on May 29, 1967, in Salinas, California, where he was also raised.

Sammy was a man known for his strong work ethic and dedication. Throughout his life, he built a successful career in the fuel center industry, where he not only thrived professionally but also formed lasting friendships with those he worked alongside. He took pride in his work and was someone others could always count on.

Beyond his career, Sammy’s greatest joy was his family. In his younger and middle adult years, he and his beloved husband, Nabor shared a life full of adventure, traveling and building a home together in various states and cities. They built a beautiful life together, full of love and memories, before Nabor’s passing in 2020.

Sammy had a love for life’s simple pleasures—coffee dates with friends, listening to funk music, and always stepping out with his hair perfectly styled and his signature musk cologne. He had a deep love for animals and always had a furry companion by his side. He is survived by his loyal dog, Scooby, who brought him great comfort and companionship.

He is lovingly survived by his daughters, Linda Flores (Doug), and Sabrina Ecker (Mitch); his grandchildren, Dezarey Lascano (Joshua), Raymond DeGracia, Isaac Pino (Savannah), Carmen Armijo, Carlos Armijo (Tiffany), and Thiago Romero; and his great-grandchildren, Jayden Garcia, Damien Lascano, Drae Pino, Axxl Pino, and Lucio Lascano,

As well as his sisters Tracy, Amy, and Sandra.

Sammy is preceded in death by his his beloved husband, Nabor E. Flores, his father, Sammy Deal Sr.; his stepmother Johnna Deal; his older brother Charles Deal; his grandson, Brayden Ecker; and his son-in-law, Dustin Burrowes.

Sammy will be remembered for his warm smile, his kind heart, and the love he gave so freely to those around him. He shared a loving and special bond with each of his grandchildren, and he will be deeply missed by every one of them. He left a lasting impression on everyone, fortunate enough to know him, bringing comfort, laughter, and light into the lives of many.

The family will be grieving and celebrating his life privately.
