Shelley L. Trautman Welsh, nickname Shelster, 50 years old of Rawlins, Wyoming passed away on 3/26/14, from stage 4 cervical cancer. Shelley was born in Yuma, CO on 4/9/63. She graduated from Rawlins High School in 1981 and continued on with college courses at the University of Wyoming in Nursing and Western Wyoming Community College (Rock Springs and Rawlins) in Nursing. Shelley was married to Stephen D. Welsh on 5/14/1999 they were married for 15 years. Shelley worked as a secretary for Albany Co. Sheriff's Dept., Wyoming State Penitentiary, and finishing with Carbon County Clerk's Office.She enjoyed crafting, crocheting, bead works, scrap booking and most of all loved spending all of her time with her kids and husband.Shelley is survived by her husband Steve, daughter Samantha L. and Son Matthew R. Welsh. Father Richard Trautman and wife Nancy, brother Todd Trautman and wife Sandra and niece Rileigh A. and nephew Jacob C. Trautman. Father-in-law Mike Welsh, brother-in-law Jeff Welsh and wife Jenni, nieces Lauren and Emily and nephew Jacob Welsh, and brother-in-law Chris Welsh. She is also survived by her loyal companion Blue Boy who is missing sitting next to her. Shelley also had a "Shit load" of Friends. Shelley is preceded in death by her mother Sharon K. Colpitts Trautman, sister Kelley A. Trautman, and mother-in-law Joan E. Welsh.The memorial services will be held at a future date and notification of services will be published in the local paper.In lieu of flowers or memorial donations they may be given to the American Cancer Society. The family of the Welsh's wish to thank James H. Ferguson, Jr., the American Cancer Society, Jenny Ray Cancer Center in Laramie, WY, American Cancer Treatment Center of American in Tulsa, OK, Carbon County Community Hospital Rawlins, WY, and everyone who has supported Shelley at her time of need. Shelley was a fighter in battling Cancer for two years and lived her life for her kids, her husband and her family. She will be dearly missed by her friends that knew her, but most of all her family.
