Timithy Del Strickland passed away on September 24th, at the age of 82.

He was born in Mt. Harris, Colorado on September 13th, 1944, and was raised by his parents Artie Earl and Addie (Duran) Strickland.

He resided in Rawlins with his wife of 39 years, Sue Strickland, until her passing in 2025. He was a loving husband, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend.

He passed away comfortably in his home with his two fur babies, Kelby and Poppy by his side.

Tim loved his country music, old westerns, and whisky. Arrowhead hunting, shooting, metal detecting, collecting coins, and working on and restoring guns. He was an amazing craftsman, artist, and historian. He was funny, mischievous, onery, and Tim loved to tell stories! His special trademarks were his blue eyes and his moustache.

Tim lived and worked in many places. He harvested grapes as a young child. He worked in the farming industry, he was a ranch hand, a coal and uranium miner, and a correctional officer for over 30 years. He received a Letter of Commendation from the State of New Mexico, recognizing him for his professionalism and confidence in carrying out his responsibilities as a Correctional Officer. After retirement, he was a heavy equipment operator, and he worked at a hardware store.

Timithy did not wish to have a funeral service; instead, he asked to be scattered in his favorite places with some good ol Canadian Lord Calvert Whiskey.

Tim had 3 siblings, 5 children, 3 step-children, 11 grandchildren, and 2 step-grandchildren.
