T Thetford died in the early morning of December 28, 2025, from complications of his hospitalization the previous 2 weeks. Mr. Thetford was born in the city of Lubbock, Texas on July 21, 1958, to Alice Dell (White) Thetford, a homemaker, and Billy Dean Thetford, a farmer.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Melissa Ranae Yowell of Wyoming, And 2 brothers, Eddie Thetford of Lubbock TX and Dale Thetford of Los Angeles CA.

He grew up in Lubbock, Ropesville, and Meadow TX. He attended Ropes High School in Ropesville Texas, graduating in 1976. He attended South Plains Junior College in Levelland, TX, Southwest Texas State University (Sweet Sue) in San Marcos, TX, and West Texas State University in Canyon TX where he met his wife, Melissa.
