Trace Wayne Hall, 24, of Rawlins, Wyoming, rode off into the eternal sunset on July 26, 2026. Born on November 4, 2001, to Billy Wayne Hall and Jessica Lynn Hall, Trace was a cowboy through and through—defined by his quiet grit, unwavering strength, the brightest smile, and a deep love for his family.

He spent his childhood in Aztec, New Mexico, where he made lifelong memories alongside his dad and brothers, playing outside until the sun disappeared beyond the horizon. Those early years shaped the hardworking, loyal, and compassionate man he would become. Trace loved playing cars and army guys outside with his dad and brothers. Anytime he could get outside from the time he could walk, he was outside playing. He was the kind of person who never hesitated to help someone in need, always willing to lend a hand or stand beside those he loved. His kindness matched his strength, and those who knew him understood that behind his towering presence was a gentle heart.

After high school, Trace became a father, and his daughter, Maribel Elliana Hall, quickly became the greatest joy of his life. She was the light in his eyes and the reason behind his biggest smiles. He embraced fatherhood with pride and unconditional love, cherishing every moment they shared. The time they had together was far too short, but the love he had for his daughter will live on forever.

Life's journey led Trace from New Mexico to Wyoming, where he developed a love for hunting, camping, and the outdoors—especially as the snow fell. Trace's determination and strong work ethic allowed him to excel in every opportunity presented to him. No matter the challenge, he met it with resilience, humility, and quiet confidence. Trace was a giant with the heart of a lamb. The ladies were drawn to his charm, while the men respected his strength and presence. He loved to dance, and country music stirred something deep within his soul. Whether he was hunting in the mountains, spending time with his brothers, or simply enjoying the outdoors, Trace found peace in the simple things. He shared a special bond with his mother, who considered him her best friend, and he was the steady rock his brothers could always lean on. Trace lived a life filled with love, loyalty, laughter, and unforgettable memories. He had a larger-than-life personality and a way of making everyone around him feel welcome. His kindness, humor, and genuine heart left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Though his time here was far too short, the legacy of love he leaves behind will endure forever.

Trace is survived by his beloved daughter, Maribel Elliana Hall; his mother, Jessica Lynn Hall; his older brother, Saylor Miller; his younger brothers, Weston Hall and Tripp Hall; and many dear friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his baby brother, James Hall; his father, Billy Wayne Hall; his grandmother, Patricia Cowan; and his cousin, Maximus Espinoza.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Trace has found peace beyond the horizon. His spirit will forever ride with the wind, his laughter will echo through our memories, and his love will remain in our hearts. Though he is gone from our sight, he will never be forgotten.
