IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Trevor Christian "Chris"
Waller
November 23, 1961 – December 25, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Trevor Christian “Chris” Waller, who passed away on December 25, 2025, at the age of 64. Chris was born on November 23, 1961, in San Angelo, TX, to Richard and Maureen (Rennoll) Waller, both of whom preceded him in death.
Chris is survived by his loving wife, Annette Waller, whom he spent 38 years of his life with, and their three sons: Joshua, Derek (Courtney), and Jeremy. He was a proud grandfather to Skyller, Tate, and Avery, who brought him immense joy. He will also be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews, including Chantel (Jeremy), Toran (Skylaar), Maria, Great Neice Bindi, as well as his bonus son Kerry Ray. Spending time with his family—watching them grow, sharing stories, and simply being together—was the favorite and most fulfilling part of Chris’s life.
Chris is also survived by his sister, Stephanie Garcia, her kids Beth and Daniel, and brothers, Glenn and Russell Waller; his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Jerome and Kim Flores and Wade and Cecilia Goergen; his father-in-law, Garry Goergen, his Aunt Anne (Reg) Handley and Annette’s grandmother, Ceceilia Goergen. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother-in-law, Billie Goergen, who was an important and cherished figure in his life.
Chris cherished life’s simple pleasures—sharing dinners, boat rides, and movie nights with Annette, spending meaningful time with family and friends, relaxing at the lake, and enjoying a good round of golf. A devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, his enthusiasm was unmatched. For decades, Chris shared countless hours playing darts, football, softball, and basketball alongside his best friend and brother-in-law, Jerome, also giving back as a coach and referee. His generosity of spirit and dedication to the local community left a lasting impression, positively impacting countless lives.
Chris will be remembered for his warmth, dedication, sense of humor, and his corny dad jokes. His presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 10th, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rawlins. A graveside service and lunch will follow.
