Victor Martinez, Jr. 67, of Superior, WY, passed away Dec. 31, 2014. He was born Sept. 6, 1947, in Rawlins, to parents Maria A. (Campos) Fleming and Victor Martinez, Sr. Graveside services with military honors will be held on Fri. Jan. 9, 2015, at 9:00 a.m. in the Rawlins Cemetery. Father Sam Hayes will officiate. Victor was born and grew up in Rawlins. He graduated from Rawlins High School in 1966. After holding various jobs, he joined the U.S. Navy in the late 1970's. He served our country with pride during war (Vietnam) and peace for over 20 years. Survivors include his children, Victor Martinez III, Nicholas JT Martinez, LaCinda M. Trester, Penny Martinez and Jonathan Martinez; brother, Edward, his wife Karen, Martinez and their children, Alex, Eli, and Aaron; aunt, Lillian Delgadillo and her children, LaBonne, Tommy, Bridget and Stacy; aunt, Reynalda Romero; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and little brother, Theadore P. Martinez. The family wishes to thank everyone for all the kindness they have shown towards him.
