Obituary

Wesley E. Pittington, born on March 10, 1946, in Walden, Colorado, passed away suddenly after a short illness on November 4, 2025, in Rawlins. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence profoundly impacted all who knew him.

Wes was a man of many passions, particularly enjoying the great outdoors. He found joy in hunting, fishing, and camping, pursuits that not only filled his weekends but also provided cherished memories with loved ones. His adventurous spirit and love for nature was an integral part of his life, reflecting his appreciation for the world around him.

He is survived by his devoted wife Dottie, who stood by him through all of life's triumphs and trials. Wes's family extends to his stepson Joel Baker and stepdaughter LaDonna Chaise, both of whom he embraced with love and pride. He is also survived by his brother Patrick, his dear niece Roanne, brother-in-law Steven, and his cherished four grandchildren, who will carry forward his legacy of kindness and joy.

Wes joins in eternal rest his father, Herb; his mother, Marie; and his brother, Ben. Their memories forever remain in the hearts of those who loved them.

As we remember Wesley E. Pittington, we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by love, adventure, and a deep connection to family and friends. He will be dearly missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire all who knew him.
