William Eugene Ewing ‘Billy’ was born March 10, 1950 in Sundance, Wyoming. He passed away June 14, 2026 in his trailer peacefully. He was holding his reading glasses in his hand.

Dad appreciated the cowboy way of life. He had a reputation around the Valley of being an excellent machine operator. He worked in the oil patch. He worked in the woods as a logger. He was an over the road truck driver. He worked on many different ranches in the Valley constructing ditches, roads, dams, ponds and leveling meadows. He enjoyed watching bronc riding and football. He also really appreciated keeping track of his grandkids sports teams. He also enjoyed taking Sunday drives. He was working for the ZN Ranch when he died helping grade roads, build ponds and level meadows.

Billy is survived by his kids & grandkids & great grandkids: Wendy Hoffman (daughter); Wendy’s kids Kaylee Little (granddaughter) husband Josh with their three kids Shaylee, Lane & Laynee Jordyn (granddaughter); and Devon Caldwell with their two kids Alayna May and Hudson Rhett Hoffman (Grandson); Billy Bob Ewing (son); Brooke Kaderabek (daughter); Kate (daughter) and Chris Williams Fischer, Hazen, Dusty and Elizabeth Williams; Emily (daughter) and David Haid Caleb Lawrence (grandson); James (son) and Ashley Ewing with their kids Oliver, Walden & Arlo Ewing all grandsons, Michael (son) and Mallory Ewing with their kids Harper (grandson) and Hank (grandson) Ewing.

He was preceded in death by Ellen Ewing (mother), Dorman Ewing (father) and Sharon Anderson (sister).

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saratoga Cemetery Chapel. Interment will follow in Saratoga Cemetery.
