William Stallsworth

William E. "Bill" Stallsworth, 73, of Sinclair passed away Apr. 7, 2016. He was born Feb. 14, 1943 in Denver, CO to parents Esther M. (Johnson) and Edward L. Stallsworth. Services with military honors will take place on Sat. Apr. 16, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Carbon County Funeral Home in Rawlins. A reception will follow at the Eagles' Club. Bill grew up and attended school in Denver, CO. On July 31, 1967 he was married to Margaret F. Hansen. The couple moved to Sinclair in 1973, where he continued his career as a mechanic with the Chevy Garage and then the WY Highway Dept., where he worked for 27 years before retiring in 2001. His hobbies included camping, fishing, antelope hunting and boating. He is remembered as a very giving man who would go out of his way to help anyone he could. Survivors include his wife of over 48 years, Margaret F. Stallsworth; his children, Rachel (Terry) Depas, Robert Stallsworth, Faith (Patrick) Depas, Jolene (Russell) Steinke and Dayton Stallsworth; brothers, Stephen and Danny Stallsworth; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Raymond; and a sister, Dorothy.
