In Loving Memory of Zeek Oren Leroy Brooks

May 10, 2017 – June 11, 2026

With unimaginable sorrow and endless love, we announce the passing of our precious Zeek Oren Leroy Brooks, age 9, of Rawlins, Wyoming, on June 11, 2026.

Born on May 10, 2017, in Rawlins, Wyoming, Zeek was a bright light whose love, laughter, and unforgettable spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. Though his time on Earth was far too short, he lived every day with curiosity, courage, and a heart full of love.

Zeek was known for his mischievous smile, his warm hugs, his silly antics, his infectious laughter, and for being everyone’s little buddy. He marched to the beat of his own drum, embraced every adventure, and filled the lives of his family and friends with joy. Whether he was exploring the world around him, sharing a joke, or simply spending time with those he loved most, Zeek made each moment special.

He is lovingly survived by his biological parents, Larry Brooks Jr. and Samantha Snow; his adoptive mother, Tara Kupsky, and his sister, Willow Snow. Zeek’s memory will be cherished by his uncles Richard Felton, Matt Brooks, Jared Hawes, and Robert Worthan; his aunts Erica Bowers, Thelma Snow, and Paige Leyba; his cousins Trey Pippin, Kylie Newberry, Quinn and Hayley Felton, Aiden, Aspyn, Logan, Layna, Parker Brooks, Lotus Hawes, and Miranda Pead; his paternal grandparents Eric and Denise Wicklund; his maternal grandparents Joe and Courtney Leyba and Kent and Dalena Hutchinson; along with many extended family members and dear friends who were blessed to know him. 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Larry Brooks; his maternal great-grandparents, Rita and Wayne Brawley; and his grandparents, Kim and Russ Leyba.

Though Zeek’s journey was brief, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain forever in the hearts of all who loved him. His laughter will echo in family stories, his kindness will be carried forward, and his beautiful spirit will never be forgotten.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Casada Funeral Home.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to everyone who has offered prayers, support, and kindness during this incredibly difficult time.
